Mr. Anil Biswas was a veteran Communist, an authoritative and powerful figure in the party, however a person and a leader who is rather to be revered and not to be feared - essentially humble...and self-effacing by nature. He was a kind of a man with the rare keen ability of dispute resolution inside the party who opt to mediate rather than dictate. With his absence CPI(M) in West Bengal would likely to face difficulties in party organisation in near future.
